Billy.
Internet explorer users: Hold down CTRL and press the + or - keys to increase or decrease text size. Firefox: Click 'View' in the top bar. Click 'Zoom' Click 'Zoom Text Only' Repeat the above, but click 'Zoom in' or 'Zoom out' instead of clicking the 'text only' bit. You should find that the forum will look much like it used to, after a bit of tweaking.

Hornet 6
You should find that the forum will look much like it used to, after a bit of tweaking. Thanks, and the rest of the forums I visit ? If it was sized correctly it would be ok, but tweaking my settings to make a forum work as it used to is not an answer. Neil. There'll be other forums you're on where you remember the layout and how it differs. What people are trying to do is replicate what the forum used to be like. If you were a brand new user on here today, you'd notice nothing.

Browning
Sorry Billy, but that is the wrong attitude actually! This is the only forum I use where I find I now have to use any zoom function. Billy has gone out of his way to try and help the forum members. I think his attitude is spot on! If you don't like the new look you can always go to one of the other forums you use...... Edited November 9, 2010 by Browning
Teal
We are hoping to amend the text size on posts to a slightly larger size. In the meantime please follow Billy's excellent advice as a temporary fix for the problem

The fonts are too small, the contrast is ****, but the new layout I can handle. As for I have got used to it, no I am used to being able to read the test, now I can't. Neil. Dave 101
Size OK thanks , now its just the contrast in text colours and background that needs sorting , blue on blue or grey on white is still a strain on the eyes . Dave

MC
By doing that in firefox only moves the text off the buttons etc at the top. Typical IT workarounds rather than fixing things properly. Next we will be told to turn it off and then back on again.

I used it in mine and it was fine. Try doing it without selecting the 'text resizing' bit. .....Then restart your computer.

No I didn't miss it, but if you read Teals post is does say "In the meantime follow Billy's excellent advice" or words to that sucking up effect. However I was merely pointing out that Billy's excellent advice didn't work correctly. I must apologise most profusely for saying anything that may be derogatory to the self appointed EX SPURTS.
