Dekers
I do very little on the pigeons, but I was pretty confident.... You can shoot whatever pigeon you want at night but ONLY Ferals by lamping (artificial illumination), so you need good eyes for the rest! Vince Green
The normal time to shoot them is at the point of dusk. The idea being that you may kill a couple but you drive the rest off just as its getting too dark for them to return . Pigeons, being creatures of habit, once they find somewhere else to roost will hopefully stay there. I don't know if it works in reality but thats the theory. Catamong
Doh....I think you need to be on the "Dreamers" forum, if you seriously think zapping the odd one with an airgun will stop 'em from roosting in their favourite trees. njc110381
As the others have said, no artificial light. Whether that means you can't make the most of the tiny bit there is with night vision I don't know but that's a very doubtful option anyway. Shoot them earlier! Colster
As Dekers said you "can" shoot them at night but you can't use artificial light, so that excludes any street lighting, using your own lamp or NV. If given all that you can still see them - Full Moon and a top class scope maybe, then you "can" shoot them.
Keith RW
thanks for the input guys, always like to stay legit rather than take a chance in this "anti gun" climate that we are in.
