Depending on what time you are going on Saturday and as long as you relax your bellend requiment I might be up for it.

If I had any skeet chokes and incontinence issues I'd give it a whirl :good:

Well you're both mincers, but if you fancy it we can give it a go.

There's sheep there too, I'm surprised Azzurri isn't straining at the leash

We'd have to book on, these skeet gimps don't go for this roll-up-and-get-on-with-it approach, everything has to be regimented and accounted for in triplicate :sly:

Let me know during the week if you're definitely up for it. Might get an idea about the weather by then, and I'll book it.

It will have to be in the afternoon, 2 or 3 pm because Yvonne's working in the morning. They're open till 5pm allegedly :hmm:

Right, I'm thinking ahead to next weekend as I know most of the usual tarts are washing their hair or something :sly:

I'm doing Grimsthorpe on Sunday, if anybody else has got the balls to do a man's shoot :P

More importantly, I'm probably going to sneak over to Fauxdegla on Saturday to do their 100 bird registered ESK. I don't have a Skeet classification with the CPSA yet, so I think I'll whip in there before this classification period ends, get myself a quick B Class tag and hey presto, I'm in the money for 6 months. I'm going to storm into A Class for ESP so that'll be the end of the cash from B Class Sporting :sly:

Anybody fancy an afternoon on the side of a Welsh mountain peeing down your leg and shooting skeet, you're welcome to join me

Not always as straightforward as that Chard me auld chutney! A mate of mine is in B class for DTL and after having shot a 98 or some such in practice announced he was entering a B and C class challenge with, I think, a £200 HG prize in those classes. He had his English Sporting head on and thought (publicly) that the money was already in his wallet and his only problem would be embarrassment when he walked up to "steal" the prize money :lol::lol:

I rang him up that evening and asked how he'd got on, "not too shabby, I shot a 96 - 2**" bloody Hell I thought (cos I'd got an English Sporting head on as well) you must have stolen the money with that score :yp: :yp: "Not exactly, didn't quite go to plan Andy, God knows were I was overall but I was about 30th in B class":oops::oops::oops::oops:

I must admit we **** ourselves laughing about this but to sum up if you shoot either DTL or English Skeet it hardly matters what class you are in, you've GOT to straighten it to be sure of winning, my mates 96 wouldn't have seen him in the top ten in C class on that particular day :o :o :o :o

So as much as I don't want to burst the El Magnifico bubble, I wouldn't count your chickens and all that but if you do give it a go let me give you a bit of advice; go and see a good skeet coach, point your gun in the right direction and shoot full and full so you can see where you're breaking the clay. Simples

Mr Potter

Nah, just checked a few past ESK comps on the CPSA site. B Class is often won with 95 and stuff :sly:

My first outing to Catton today and what a lovely place.

Many thanks to Nicky T for the invite and advice, much appreciated.

Was nice to meet Mr Potter too.

Finished on 73 so very chuffed!

Well shot today Ian - especially at Catton Hall :good: Top day out

Which ones were you looking at? :ermm::hmm:

I was just looking at John Rogers scores on the CPSA site, because I knew he did a bit of skeet. :hmm:

I know the majors will be different, but the sort of stuff John's been having a bash at looks doable :good:

I shot the British open skeet a couple years back as I was in B class; thought I'd do alright... 98 kills later I'd won naff all, best to stick to sporting !!

Yes, I was setting my sights a bit lower than the British Open, Ed :P

I was thinking more about winning a tenner at some hick event somewhere
