Dekers
CZ 452 There was of course the original...Eric Brookes, but I see there are issues with the website Google is your friend remember! Also be mindful, you do not need a kit for EVERY CZ Rimfire. My current .22lr is still on the original trigger and is fine, so to was my last WMR. My CZ HMR Silhouette was absolutely terrible, and the kit was essential, just over a year ago I bought a new CZ WMR and the trigger on that was only half as bad as the HMR, but still needed the kit. I have heard the 453 and 455 triggers are meant to be an improvement, but I have no first hand experience!

dave1419
There was a vid on here sometime ago about fitting the new springs etc--do a search on here,it certainly was helpful and its not a hard job to do---Dave
Redgum
trigger kits have arrived any fitted them any problems i have to look out for??? colin Make sure you read the instructions well, when you tap out the pin make sure you have a small socket behind it to support the trigger yet allowing the pin to come out. They normally come out quite easily but the first one I did was real tight and was starting to get a bit worried but all was fine.

It's better to remove the pin with lots of small taps than one big one. I like the YoDave kits as they include a replacement sear pin as you can often damage the end of the old one getting it out. Dekers
I am now thinking of putting one of these trigger kits on both my .22 & HMR. Would you recommend them? Jaguar Warrior
Hi All, I have a CZ 453 with a set trigger. For those that don't know, set triggers can be 'set' to a higher sensitivity, that is, a much lighter trigger pull. I was warned when i bought it that I would shoot myself in the foot with it It came out of the box at about 1 lb normal and about 1/2 lb trigger pull after setting. I'm used to a light trigger from using a PCP airgun for years. I only set the trigger when I want to 'snap shoot' because i'm in an uncomfortable position for example. I have to say that once I had a 'negligent disharge'. Even so it was still a safe shot IMHO as the gun was aiming at the rabbit and i'm all the while looking down the telescopic. I was wearing really thin gloves and I fired the trigger when i made re-contact with my finger - you have to use your thumb to push it forward to set it, until it clicks. Call me clumsy, but it gave me a shock !! I do love the set trigger for certain occasions, particularly target shooting. My lowly advice is don't set it unless the gun is pointing at the target. apache
I have .22 and .17HMR flavour CZ's and there's nothing wrong with the triggers.
al4x
I have .22 and .17HMR flavour CZ's and there's nothing wrong with the triggers. have you tried one with the trigger done though?
Luckyshot
I have .22 and .17HMR flavour CZ's and there's nothing wrong with the triggers. That depends on what you are compairing them with. My trigger on my cz 22rf and hmr were not too bad but once I fitted the kits to both of them (hmr only needing the spring changing) they were and still are a different rifle to shoot. pat g
Totally agree with lucky shot. CZ triggers are not too bad but to me fitting a trigger kit totally transforms what is already a good rifle into an excellent one. IMO it is the best modification you can do to a CZ. My hmr only had the spring changed. I would'nt hesitate in recommending South Yorkshire Shooting Supplies/ Rimfire Magic. I got my trigger kit for £12 including p&p. Really helpful and plenty advice. Came with instructions as well. One thing to remember with CZ's as well is that the triggers vary from rifle to rifle. Some only need the trigger spring replacing to improve things whilst another rifle may need the trigger spring and the sear pin replaced to take up any "creep". The trigger on my Sako p94s did'nt need anything doing to it but thats another story ATB Pat
ozzy518
I have just replaced my CZ 452 .17hmr trigger with a Timney trigger..What a difference it has made. Lighter pull , no creep. I haven't had a chance to zero it yet though but I would imagine its going to produce tighter groups that teh previous trigger

V8 90
I did the triggers on both my 452's the day I picked them up from the gun shop so dont know what they were like "factory" style but compared to my old shooting bud's they're nice & crisp - well worth doing !!!!!!!!!!!
