Hi, Getting a lot of free press these guys! Thing is though, they're worth it. They do London quality work at provincial prices. I bought a AyA 25 boxlock which superficially was a bit of a mess - too much oil and too much whatever it was all over the stock gunging up the chequering to boot not to mention the barrel needed re-blueing - fair wear and tear. The too much oil had got into the stock (as usual) and needed sorting which I wasn't aware of so £40 down there but that was the only hic-cup. Had just asked for barrel to be blued and chequering sorted but still not feeling too clever let them sort out the stock which I was going to do myself in slow time. I'd also picked up a Churchill which had one problem that I knew about and two that I didn't. Still waiting for this one to be done as it'll take a couple of weeks. Won't say owt, but I'll see if I can talk Jasper in to sticking up a couple of photo's when I've got the Churchill back. Cheers
Billy.
I cannot say enough good feedback about Peter at ####. He is such a top bloke and I picked up a new barrel today, which he kindly offered to me for free which was going to be binned. A genuine person who is more than willing to give up his time to help others at no extra cost
Boristhedog
It's worth a journey down to see them if you want any work undertaken, whatever the distance. I've met with Dennis and Chris who handle the 'wood side' of the business and nicer gents you couldn't hope to meet. Fantastic workmanship, knowledgeable conversation and a brew - what more could you want? Cannot recommend too highly!
mossy835
one thing about dennis, is he is allways in his work shop.if you take any thing round he will look at any time when i take any thing round he will do it right away, same as last night he done the gun there and then,i ask him to come rabbiting today but he could not make it,so i will take him roost shooting for the next few months,

Dekers
Many of you will have seen this before, an example of the work Dennis does. He took the dinks out, refinished the stock and put a new longer recoil pad on for me, sensibly priced as well. Praise where it is due, I'm not easily impressed, the poor picture quality is down to me, it's off my phone!

dicehorn
Well, on behalf of the team - we are suitably embarrassed by the guys above who have posted such kind comments. We have always had a mandate to be different within the gun trade by putting service at the top of the agenda and being available to chat from 10 am to 10 pm or indeed welcome customers during those times and our provincial pricing is achieved by not having high overheads of a shop and staff costs - what you get is just the experience of the four craftsmen. PS. Will my friend, I hope that barrel really sings for you when its put on your action - if it does not group better than .3 - take my advice and cut down on the lager!! pigglet
Peter, Dennis and the team gave my Thomas Jackson hammer gun a bit of a refurb last year. The workmanship is superb and the service second to none. A Refreshing change when compared to the mediocre customer service most companies seem to offer these days. The woodwork was refinished, the barrels re-blacked and the action given a clean and service.

pigglet
Thanks guy's. It was a nice gun when I bought it but Dennis and co have really brought out the best in it for a relatively modest fee.
