I've used one mate and i agree with you they are good for the money, if you get a good one. Half the people I speak to say there great, the other half say they've had nothin but trouble, it's like any gun tho mate you can get a good one or a bad one

Can`t say I`ve ever heard of a bad Xtrema or 11-87 and I`ve had both. I know of a gunshop near me that won`t stock or trade Hatsans.

Hi walker! The beretta is ace mate, really pleased with it, light and very pointable, tried 24gr carts to see if they would cycle properly, just out of interest as i use 30gr myself but they worked fine, I tried beating it too, pulling the trigger as fast as I could to see if that would cycle ok to or jam with the rapid fire, but all 3 shots went off perfectly as fast as i could pull the trigger, mega rapid.

I honestly can't fault it mate ifs a great bit of kit, got it for £715 new too so it's a bargain! Happy days! :-)

I stand corrected! lol

Woman on the phone at GMK told me it was a brand new model introduced Jan this year, unknown to me it was re-introduced like you said, I bow down to your superior knowledge mate, nice 1! :-)

No superior knowledge here mate, just google ''Beretta ES100, loads of info there (if you can be bothered to trawl through it all  )

Theres an ES100 wood stock version for sale on this very forum, was purchased new 6 years ago, and a bargain at £450

My recommendation would be a browning maxus - mine has only ever had one stoppage in around 1500 carts through it so far and it shoots lovely. Not cheap though, but you get what you pay for!

not a lot of experience with autos but the maxus is a great gun to shoot don;t use it that often to be honest just because i like using my o/u still had a lot of shells through it and cycles any shell you put in it.

had a beretta synthetic cost me 700 quid new about 4 years ago was a bloody pain wouldnt cycle anything under 32g .phoned dealer and he said it needed more use to loosen it up i got fed up and sold it back to him at 250 loss

bought a hatsan last year and never had a jam on any size cart

This shows that some beretta's are not made properly while most critersize the Hatsan escort for having problem.

Nice to hear that good manufacturers also make a bad gun one in a wile, so why dont you stop critersizing the hatsan.

Thanks for putting this up 'monster1971', but what a shame that you made a loss on the gun after all their supposed to be good guns

I have one of the original Benelli M90 121 semi autos. Paid £200 for it about 18 months ago and use it purely for hide shooting so it gets wet and mucky and knocked about quite a bit. I rarely clean it. Just squirt some oil in every now and then. Must be thirty five years old and still runs like a sewing machine. The only downside is the Benelli Button that can be a pain sometimes.

That's actually pretty encouraging for me, Clive - I was a touch worried anout the longevity of semi-autos given the fact they have more moving parts than your standard sxs or o/u.

Cheers
