andie
hi all just like to share with you my new toy now never been a fan of hides more of a net and poles person but when i seen this 3 man pop up hide i had to get it now the usual disadvantage of tent hides is the space and shooting angles but this one is different thats why i purchased it, it has more windows that my house and so roomy you could camp in it aswell heres a couple of pics whats your lots thoughts and the windows have mesh over them aswell or you can remove the mesh and windows completely so you can see straight out side
semiautolee
i have never been a fan of pop up hides, i find there isnt much room to swing the gun, yes yours looks as though it has plenty of room inside but the down fall is are you going to be able to swing the gun properly?? without hitting the sides. but it does look like a very nice hide mate
decoy1979
Looks ok, but if you are planning on shotgun shooting from it can't see those windows allowing much scope to swing. Good luck with it and let us know how it works in the field!

Cranfield
That type of hide is really made for shooting a static target with either a rifle or shotgun. It will be interesting to see how you get on with it shooting flying birds.
artschool
i have this one from the same manufacturer and use it for decoying pigeons, there isnt a problem with the swing if you sit close to the opening.
semiautolee
but if you have to sit close to the opening you might aswell not be in it.
drut
I sometimes use a "Doghouse" hide for shooting rabbits with a rifle, yours certainly looks a lot more versatile thanks to the choice of openings.
Billy.
Bet your wife loves you Didn't think to put it up outside, or was the excitement too much when the package arrived?
artschool
but if you have to sit close to the opening you might aswell not be in it. its black on the inside so pretty hard to see whats in it and i still wear a face mask. anyhow its not traditional i know but it goes up in 2 seconds is light and also keeps the rain off. MK38
Looks great if you want to shoot sitters..... can't see how you can shoot flying birds though Rather have a 'normal ' hide myself..... Dave

Billy.
Looks very familiar to the one I once tested Is it "The Cube"? Edited February 14, 2011 by Billy.
andie
yes mate it is a cube but you pull the centers out so each side is pointed to deflect wind
Catamong
Hmmm, Archie Coates would be turning in his grave. Great for Bird Watching or rifling the odd Deer, but totally impractical for pigeon shooting, that's probably why you see so many of them up for sale on this forum. Cat. The Duncan
doesnt stop there, i had freshly brewed lavazza coffee and croissants with me whilst out shooting on sunday we cant all be bear grylls and sit in the rain mate Yep, stuff bear grylls, I'd rather have the nice coffee and croissants (or pains-au-chocolat)in the dry. Pot pigeons in style and comfort

motty
I would never buy a pop up hide. I like to make my own - much more versatile.
CZ550Kevlar
I can see the attraction sitting in it with a bacon roll, coffee and a copy of womens weekly waiting for a rabbit or deer to come strolling along when it`s either raining hard or bright blazing sunshine but decoying pigeons in it could be a real pain with it having such a narrow line of fire with a shotgun.
