Gordon R
Connect it to a car battery or I will sell you one. I have several.

Gnome of the Woods
Not easily without blowing the company fuse in a house! Do you have breakers or wire fuses?

HDAV
Just pull the end off cut the wire and put it back, or run more than 13A through it, or peel the label off a good one and put it on a 3A!
mfletch
Just look for one thats gone limp thats one that has been Blown :o
woodcock11
I need a blown 13a fuse. Suggestions on how to do it. This is the most bizarre thread I have read in a long time. Just buy one from Gordon R who apparently has loads of them and has generously offered to sell you one and that will put us all out of our misery. Or else please tell us what you can do with a blown 13 amp fuse??
sticko
put more than 13 amps through it but why?

four-wheel-drive
as young Gordon said Connect it to a car battery and a bit of stout wire and 12 volts will soon heat up the element and burn it out.
HW682
As above, connecting to a car battery is probably the safest way to go about it. FYI... time taken to blow vs current for BS1362 fuse (In = nominal rating of fuse ie 13A in this case) In (13A) will last minimum 1000hours 1.6 In (20.8A) will last minimum 30 mins 1.9In (24.7A) will last MAX 30 mins 3In(39A) max approx 3 seconds 4In (52A) max approx 0.8 seconds 5In (65A) max approx 0.3 seconds 6In (78) max approx 0.2 seconds . . 10In (130A) max approx 0.07 seconds As a car battery will delivery well over 130A "soon" is an understatement. DSPUK
That's a good question - I must admit I can't remember the last time I had a fuse blow. But I have had a breaker trip occasionally. Dave
