Richie10
Chelmsford = Fallow. There are no Roe in that area. Also a .22rf or a FAC air rifle won't take a fallow unless you are shooting them in the head and that is risky and illegal with FAC air rifles. majordisorder
Do they always let you take their pictures that close ? I look forward to the pictures, this could be a 10 pager TaxiDriver just for reference, this is what Roe Does look like round my way
Dunkield
Sometimes I kid you not, that shot (not the photo) was taken at under 10 yards. I actually thought she was going to walk straight past me - I have never zoomed a scope in so quick, and so quietly.

Bleeh
Prehaps it was an otherwise undiscovered feral group of Pere David's deer?. Sorry, I'm just **** stirring now. Edited March 9, 2011 by Bleeh

Richie, As I believe I've already said in an earlier post, whatever they are, frustratingly, they're safe from me as I only have application in for FAC Air and .22lr and SGC. Even IF (Big IF) I was to put in for .243 which I believe is the requirement in Essex, I doubt that I would get it so early in my shooting career. It's looking a bit fallow to me, but the exit polls can never be trusted.

Dekers
As Mungler says they will be fallow, this area across to essex does have some big groups about at this time of year. though you'll need to zoom in the first is a doe with a load more in the wood and though not especially helpful the second is a white one but gives you a much closer picture .....and, how did a white Goat get into the thread? TaxiDriver
.....and, how did a white Goat get into the thread? He'd heard someone started a rumour of Roe deer in Essex, and just wanted to say........"What..You're kidding"

groach1234
Id just like to say i've seen a couple of groups of 10+ roe the last few years but not this year so its not impossible for them to hit those numbers. However It would appear they'd be fallow is roe aren't in that part of the country. George
