Gemini
Had three teeth out on the bottom left side of my mouth when I was a lad, and because they were second teeth they never came back. This left me with a large gap between my incisor??? and my wisdom tooth which was allowing my top teeth to grow down too much. I was told that I could have a bridge put in to give me back these missing teeth and to stop any future problems with the upper teeth. This was a few years ago; Cost………….£750 and three months of absolute agony. I went back after six months for a check-up and was given a clean bill of health. Went back six months later only to be told that he had gone totally private and that I wasn’t on his list? I couldn’t believe it after what he had been paid. He drives a Porsche with a licence number that reads something about molars (or something). I suppose – GR€€DY B4$T4RD was to big for the plate. G.M. Lord Geordie
If my teeth get that bad i would rather pull em out myself than pay those kinda prices. Failing that i can paint a target on the bad teeth and go to the town and upset a doorman AND if the tooth fairy is kind to me i can get a few boxes of shells in the bargain LG

Piebob
Haven't been for about 5 years, and the last time I went was only as my wisdom teeth were cutting my cheek. Before that it was six years or so. If you can take the toothache for a while, teeth can often heal themselves unless they are too far gone. Just keep regular brushing going, and make sure you've got plenty of calcium in your system. I believe that, generally, dentists are too keen to carry out work and get the dosh than leave things alone to see if they heal up themselves. http://www.mizar5.com/heal.htm Piebob
craftycarper
Painkillers that will do although i have a nhs dentist so prices are pretty good, you can always try boots, i've been told that they now sell d.i.y filling kits. Mix up this stuff bit like filler and bobs your uncle. Its also amazing how you see these stories in the national papers that people are taking the day off work and going abroad to have their teeth done and saving hundreds of pounds..poxy country has gone to pot
tenbears10
I had to go to the dentist a few years ago as an emergency and was told they would only do it private. with 3 visits to do the root canal surgery on one tooth and then 3 to do the other tooth it ended up costing about £700. It was slightly less painful than having your head cut off with a rusty bread knife. The assistant was fit just like mikky says but if I want to spend £700 and see fit women there are better places to go than the dentist.
