Kes Posted March 20, 2011 Report Share Posted March 20, 2011 If its a bager then your dog was playing near the entrance - the prints Have 4 toes and claws. Badgers have 5 and the claws are less obvious. If theres any animal debris near the hole and it looks unkempt and untidy its a fox. If its relatively clear of rubbish then kick the dog, its a badger.
