Beardo
Walk across the Waterloo Bridge and stroll along the South Bank to the Tate Modern worth a look round. Somerset house quite often has things going on as well.

Snap Cap
OR...http://www.londonducktours.co.uk/ They are renowned for breaking down and bringing London to a stand still....well more of a stand still than normal. The London Aquarium is brilliant well worth a look.

al4x
I hope the TUC are going to weigh out the loss in earnings to the DUCK tour company? my guess is they couldn't give a duck, I'm just glad they are doing it on a saturday so we don't loose too much, after all the rest of us need to make enough money to pay enough tax for the TUC's employees to keep retiring at 50 on decent pensions

It is a pity Thatcher didn't break a few more of them while she was at it.
nimms
The science museum is worth a look something of interest for everyone. It has recently been extended and updated.
al4x
the only plus point is i'm yet to see Bob Crows smug face anywhere on the interviews about the march, very few people have a face that makes me want to smack them that much Edited March 25, 2011 by al4x
Dr W
This guys name is a wind up surely ? At least it's not Ben Dover, I love the irrelevant naked male statues at the bottom just in case you didn't get that they liked men.

Vince Green
National Gallery 5 mins walk from the embankment. Its on the north side of Trafalgar Sq Much more interesting than it sounds and its free. Come out of there, left into Strand, 5 mins you are in Covent Garden and the transport museum, also free. Plus street entertainers cafe's and an indoor market to wander round. figgy
Catch the tube and wander round the gun makers but leave wallet and cards in pocket, most are only five or ten minutes walk from eachother.
