it doesn't matter you don't have to try scaring them its under condition O on the license and as they are non natives and a threat to our flora and fauna. Assuming tosspot is in England

all this said all shooters I know leave them alone while they are breeding.

From the nature of the OP, his name is entirely apt.

to all the so caled men on here that *** on and just bitch like a woman.do u not think its wise to just ask for advice.instead of thinking you no it all....

The geese in mention are canadian so can anybody with a positive answer tell me if its ok to shoot them.thanks

Yup, that'll get you a positive response!

Hope you like animosity and antipathy (look em up dullard!)

TBH, if you need to ask if its cool to shoot nesting geese, you have no place in the field with a gun. Period.

Get a life, an education and above all some standards!

Just when you think you`ve seen it all topics like this happen, i`m not against people asking questions but to be really honest when it involves contentious issues like this i often think abit of professional advice seeking is in order rather than posting on this forum and expect to get a simple straight answer to a question that is obviously going to poke your head over the parapet.

as long as you are a decent shot I can't see why not. If its pure pest control wait till they moult and can't fly and then round them up and do the job.

On a sensible side though really if they are nesting you have left it too late and should have moved them on before then. If they haven't hatched any then best option is to try to move them on now
