DSPUK
Well it's good to see the report that Denmark has banned Marmite on health grounds is False -- I love the stuff - on thick crusty bread toast that's been plastered with Lurpac butter - best start to the day. In fact make that a doorstep of crusty bread toasted on hot open fire when you need a cloth round your hand to stop that toasting as well - bet there isn't many people here who remember those days. :hmm: Dave
henry d
Still do it last thing at night when we have the chimnea lit. Wholemeal bread is better

death from below
Just save the expense of buying marmite and scrape a slice of bread around your exhaust pipe - about as tasty and more nutritional value.
V8landy
As an extra kick, I like a marmite and Twigglet sandwich
Kes
I'm now going to have to go and make a sandwich!!!! Made a hotpot the other day - Marmite's a great alternative flavour to OXO.
njc110381
I too prefer Bovril on toast. That's not to say Marmite isn't good, rather just not as good! Not sure about Lurpak either. Kerrygold would be my choice. One thing is certain though. In our house, whether it's Marmite or Bovril on the shelf it will be there when I go to eat some. The mrs hates both with a passion! marmitemania
I think you know my position on Marmite, I have eaten it virtually every day of my life from a very young age, if need be I could survive on Marmite sandwiches and cups of tea. We always take a jar pf Marmite when we go abroad just in case we cant get any.
