mick miller
I do hope that none of those Sharia law signs were damaged in Tottenham last night. There had been a lot of time invested in creating that Sharia zone by the local community. At least there didn't appear to be much drinking, loud music or unecessary lewdness last night however there appears to be quite a bit of smoking this morning. Vince Green
Although there are a lot of muslims in that area the rioting last night came almost entirely from the caribbean community off the Broadwater farm. Protesting about the shooting by police of one of their own the day before. This is not a muslim issue. They are probably more appalled than anybody by what happened, and frightened. I know that area quite well, its not far from here. The carribean community in the area is much "heavier" than than the muslims. Very established now, been there for generations. Very into gangs and guns and everything that goes with it. The police wouldn't go on Broadwater Farm for years, probably won't again after this. The tail wags the dog. silpig5
riots after a "gangsta mug " took a shot at a armed policeman sorry but who cares , so19 failed by not shooting the rest of his lawless mates too . my thoughts are that if you wanna play the big man and be armed you are gonna have a short life and hit the pavement sooner or later . its time that the streets where made safe again for normal people to live there lives as they deserve. all rioters can easily be found by cctv and the various media cameras that filmed them , so its down to the law to take full use of its powers and do somthing about it . but hey , these are only my thoughts , so dont jump on the how dare you say that band wagon . mick miller
Hey I didn't accuse the beardy gang of anything! I merely hoped none of their crappy little yellow signs got melted. Remember the wearing of hoodies and usually a baseball cap underneath has its origins in avoiding exactly that situation, shielding the face from cameras. Thats originally more aimed at cameras in shopping precints but the ordinary street cameras will struggle. Raja Clavata
No community should mourn the loss of someone who shoots at coppers, end of. One of the few things that are black and white as far as I'm concerned is that anyone partaking in a riot loses their basic rights and becomes fair game to whatever the authorities need to do to restore order. Knowing the area very well, I feel very sad for the shop keepers and small business owners who will have been impacted the most by this. Particularly for the Muslim businesses during their holy month. Let's hope other areas don't follow this lead.
CZ550Kevlar
Just checking the news out, looks like they have all gone home to bed, wonder if this will be the last of it? You have to give themm credit in some ways, they came over from the Broadwater Farm area & learnt you don`t **** in your own back yard, do it in someone elses. Akita Boy
So much for the eagerly awaited Tottenham series of Dale Winton's "Supermarket Sweep" Guess I'll just have to wait for the Walthamstow version of Sharia Law Big Brother instead.... CZ550Kevlar
More amazingly just been watching Sky news footage and they are still going in and out of the sports shops etc even now, i damn well hope Sky are handing the tapes over to police, but knowing the Police they aren`t going to go after these looters when there are far easier targets to go after like litter droppers and hunters lawfully hunting. They aren`t even bothering covering their faces.

CZ550Kevlar
I bet if they were shot by a black police force they wouldn`t be protesting but they always look for some excuse to rise up against the oppression they are suffering under by the white man. libs
Well firstly, I'm not an evil person but seeing someone who shoots at the police immediately ending up on a slab makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside... I would also bet that 99% of the plum sacks kicking off last night didn't know their own father let alone the 'straight up respected gansta' that was shot dead by the police. Some people just like kicking off and don't need much of an excuse. Jacketed hollow point batton rounds all the way in future.

KPV4
Appalling situation last night, time I think to start investing and building some more large prisons, and lock these scum up Some of us law abiding citizens are too worried to look at someone the wrong way or say the wrong thing, for fear of falling foul of the law and the removal of privilegege of legally owning a firearm. On the other hand there are those openly owning illegal firearms (and many of them) and running am-mockck within our society causing misery to honest law abiding citizens. I have just watched someone on the TV, (a home-office minister) threatening the "full force of the law" to those who carry out these acts. I have to ask "the full force of what law" the law doesn't have any teeth any more, unless you park illegally or are caught speeding. It time for a complete revamp of the law in the UK and how its applied, and also the way human rights prevent the law being applied correctly. Also to be a little controversial, it maybe time to start shipping some of these un-lawfull persons back to their ancestral homelands, if they don't want to abide by our rules and laws in this country. Ship them back so they can then run riot on the Caribbeanrabean islands (or where ever) with relativesetives! :look: If they want to stay in this wonderful country then BEHAVE :good:

mick miller
Just heard a nice chap on Sky News stating that the community want justice. I suppose that's fair enough. Does it have to come with free Nike trainers, plasma TV's, sportswear and the summary beating of an innocent bus driver though?
