Teal
Good news! Yes there will be a Charity Shoot in 2012! Although the venue and date will be confirmed much nearer the time (eg: it was January this year). Unless we go back to Hodnet, the 2012 shoot will be held at a new venue, and in line with the alternation of the last two years, it is likely that the next shoot will be held once more at a more Northerly ground. As nothing has yet been decided, there is not much more I can say, other than that in due course we will be opening up a topic for ground suggestions, and once that has been selected we will work to decide the most suitable date! Dunkield
As we have North and Midlands somewhere down South would be nice - Churchill's for instance
Chard
As we have North and Midlands somewhere down South would be nice - Churchill's for instance Hodnet isn't North I believe the ground's proper name is West Midlands Shooting School

Yellow Bear
It depends if you are talking England or UK If we are talking UK mainland the center would be near the Coniston Ground near Skipton For England only Hodnet is on the same longitude as the center. By this they have either both been in the either the South or Midlands and South. so let's have less of this Midlands and North. Lets have one closer to

Catamong
The fact is, there are no decent grounds North of Hodnet, and most of the real "Northerners" on this forum wouldn't support it 'cos they're too tight fisted. My choice would be either Doveridge, Shugborough or even Kingsley Moor, (at a pinch).. Still, there's a long way to go yet, my main concern yet again will be that we raise the maximum amount of dosh for whatever Charity we deem, (by Forum vote), to be most worthwhile. Diceman
Cat, why Kingsley Moor 'at a pinch'? Only shot it once but thought it was an excellent ground, more interesting than Doveridge?
Catamong
Yep, nice ground, the layout could be made even better with a bit more thought and subtle use of the deep valley, but do they have the facilities to cater for 100 odd people, not on my last visit there, but perhaps things have changed recently..? Dunkield
To me it seems slightly ridiculous discussing it 9-10 months in advance, these things have a habit of peaking too early if you do that - but I guess it's a quiet news day

Chard
Shugborough is a lovely ground but only has a tiny two tables shed last time i went. from Auntie. Bit like Kingsley. Nothing's changed there in a long while. Their hut holds more than Shugborough, but no more than 20/30 I don't think
timps
Catton Hall, Coniston or Fauxdegla spring to mind for the facilities, Catton Hall has supported the last 2 shoots with raffle prizes as well. Wherever its held (within reason) I will be there again.
