Muggins.
Personally i can`t stand the stuff and smelling it on someone makes me urge. Tv chefs throw it in everything except deserts but i don`t think that`s too far away. What is it about garlic that makes it so popular?? muggins. -Mongrel-
It is flavoursome and adds to many dishes a wonderful twist and aroma. However, if you don't like I feel you may choose to disagree.

Cosd
The flavour and aroma of garlic in food is amazing in my opinion. Someones breath smelling of any foods isn't particularly pleasant, not just garlic!!
Thunderbird
I use garlic so much we probably smell of it permanently in our house, therefore can't smell it on others either!

Thunderbird
I grew some a couple of years ago and whilst edible and very tasty the bulbs were very small and fiddly. I just planted bulbs from garlic I got from the local greengrocer. What do you do and can they be grown in pots?
quattro
Great stuff, its used as a background flavour in many dishes, base stocks, sauces, confit and braising (im a chef). Its especially used in pre made food that you buy in supermarkets etc... (read the labels, you will be shocked in what its put in to)
