Cosd
Use it all year round, lightweight, compacts down very small. Caught it on brambles and thorns and has no snags rips or tears. Highly recommended in my opinion.

Redditch
Brilliant bit of kit, I have a 5 metre and a 4 metre version of it, I can make a huge hide if needed, or two smaller ones, or one in the middle of a field Edited September 19, 2011 by Redditch

Cranfield
Do a "Search" on this section for "Stealth Net", there have been many threads with conflicting opinions. I don't think you can use them without an additional net, as they are too "see-through". Also, be careful that you are buying a real Stealth net, some of the cheap ones advertised are poor copies. I use a stealth net, that I have had for quite some years now. It is definately not too see through. But, my friend has one, that definately is too see through in my opinion. His is much newer than mine. Whether that is a cheaper copy version or not I don't know. I can use my own without an additional net no problem at all. So I think you've just got to be very careful where you buy it from. Try to have a look at a couple before you buy, so that you know what you're looking at. Easier said than done I know. Unless you have a few shooting friends.
JBS
I bought one a couple of weeks ago and decided to pay more from uk shootwarehouse, but I'm pretty sure it's a fake. Very see through on it's own so I had to buy a jack pyke clearview to put behind it, the UKSW one doesn't come with any loops to attach to poles either which makes it a real pain, I solved this buy attaching cable ties every 250mm at the top of the net like a curtain! The two together work well and you can still see out easy enough, just be warned that if you want a real one I would go to a shop where you can check before you buy. I can assure you the one from UKSW is pukka (as is the one from paul hart). None of them have any loops to secure them to the poles, just make a hole in the mesh. Unless you have them against a solid background they are all see through, some just more than others. I have to make most of my hides out in the open so its a problem. If you don't believe me, set one up in the open and walk round it about 50 yards away, even better , do it on a sunny day.

Do you mean none of the real ones haves loops? All the ones on ebay claiming to be genuine come with loops to attatch, seems to me that there are loads of people making and selling these and it can be pot luck how good the quality is depending where it comes from Dont get me wrong the one i got from UKSW seems good quality and it has green mesh behind which i wanted, its fantastic with the clearview behind it and even without it didnt seem to bother birds coming in too much providing you stay still but i just didnt feel comfortable knowing i could be seen so easily it also blends in with most backgrounds suprisingly well after seeming a bit too bright on first impression, adding a bit of whats in the field or hedge really adds depth to these great nets. Whitebridges
My Stealth Net has got a black mesh lining and defo not see through. In fact if it has a fault it's too thick to see oncoming birds. Apart from that it's the best all round net i've owned.
Catamong
I recently bought one from an online store, mine's a modern "see through" version, it looks very good when you have a hedge background, but I also used it with no background away from a hedge and it certainly didn't spook the birds, the trick here is to stay absolutely still whilst the birds are on the approach in towards the hide. You can look through the black inner mesh to track the incoming birds. Mine has loops top and bottom, I reckon they're too long, if you hang the loop onto the plastic hanger at the top of the hide pole, about 3" of the pole sticks up above the net, which is not a good idea as it can hinder your gun swing. I'm going to fit some smaller plastic ties as others have said to make it hang better. It's certainly a big improvement over my previous set of nets in terms of weight, as they were ex army nets designed to conceal a Chieftan Tank, they looked fantastic, but they were very bulky, and when they got wet, they weighed an absolute ton. The Stealth net is extremely light and folds up to virtually nothing, I would imagine it will need pegging down on the bottom edge as it's liable to flap around in even the lightest breeze. Cat. Hi Cat, Mine is the earlier model if you like with no hanging loops, I simply grab a couple of sections of the die cut part of the net and hang it on the poles, this way the net hangs right from the top of the poles; At first I was a little weary thinking the net might rip, but it is much stronger than I initially thought, no rips or tears. I also think that unless you have loops every couple of inches, you need to make sure your poles are set the right distance apart to get the net taught (I hate a floppy one ), whereas using the net itself it doesn't matter. Regarding pegging it down, I bought some tent pegs from Millets and carry half a dozen in my kit bag, that gives me enough for two on each of the sides and the front of the hide, and like you say I only use them if the net flaps about. Can I add that I also carry a Clearview net with me at all times, and I find the combination of the two nets covers every scenario I have come across; I've used it folded three times as a background if I'm up against a thin backstop, I've used to add a roof to the hide and I regularly used it hanging 10" higher than the Stealth net giving me a window to look through whilst seated. The combination of the two nets had a great review about a year and a half ago in Sporting Gun which is where I got the idea to add a Clearview to the kit. Both nets fold and store in a football boot bag which is smaller than a cartridge bag. Hope that helps Cos Edited September 21, 2011 by Cosd

Redditch
I got a see through one and two "Stealth Ghost" ones. The see through is a Jack Pyke one, and is used as a roof, or to peek through. The "stealth Ghosts" I got from Sportingagent aka A1 Decoying and has a black lining and definately not see through. Davyo
i bought the jack pike one (the see through one) load of rubbish is my view, unless used with additional netting,'may as well build a hide out of double glazing'*the jack pike add made it look like Harry potters invisability cloak*
