mpk
I have a urika 2 and absolutley love it, it has not missed a beat yet (not that I expect it to) and is perfectly balanced. The best gun I have ever owned

bakerboy
5 Escorts, you will always have one to use when you need it . "only joking"
poontang
All depends what it's to be used for. Out of that lot I'd say the Maxus is the best all round option. The Teknys/a400 probably the better clay guns, and the SX3, well it's just a cheap Maxus so no point in it being in the poll really Bakerboy's probably right with the 5 Escorts. A 3.5" for 'fowling, a 3" for clays and rough shooting, and the other three for spares.
super sharp shooter
None of the above. Fabarm XLR. If this was in the poll that's what I would have voted on
mickmep
personally dont think its much of a comparison. youve got well under £1000 for the winchester and browning new, and well over for any of the berettas listed, unless your comparing new sx3's and maxus against used berettas. in my opinion you'll get what you pay for, the berettas will be more money and more gun. for my vote for £1000 if you want an all round gun doing 50% or more rough shooting id buy a second hand 400 unico and have the option of using 3 1/2 cartridges. if you want to go clay bashing id buy a new sx3 flanigan and pocket the change, or a carbon maxus if the reds too much. Mike525steel
Sx3 just over a grand??
woodcock1
'Benelli Woodcock' just to throw in something a little different. Had mine two years now, wouldn't change it for the world. If I had to it'd be a 24" Urika
chrispti
Xtrema 2, best all rounder
ollie
I have voted for Tekny's Stonecoat, although I would imagine you can pick up a second hand 1 for less than 1k. I bought my 391 Tekny 2nd hand about 8 years ago and it hasn't missed a beat; I use it for everything from clays to rough shooting.
kent
I voted SX3, i have one and was more than ready to pay over the grand but why? i got £200 change and its a cracking gun, i have no time for the speed load on the Maxus and preffered the fit of the SX3 although LOP was the same the Maxus came up sorter due to the different shape of the hand. The only improvement that might be worthwhile for me would be a cut off so i could change just the chambered round if geese came over when loaded for duck. Retrospecively the maxus might just have been a better choice for mid winter fowling with a heavy coat and woolies underneeth but i can adapt
EdSolomons
Just bought a 391 urika in 32" for £650 and wouldn't swap it for any of the above. Best semi ever made I recon.
