-Mongrel-
Is good to have motorcyclists in our community. Ensures a nice regular supply of fresh organs lol "Oh you're so funny." I said "Yeah"...but I can't see anyone else smiling in here. I paid my respects today, having a step son in training at Catterick makes it all the more relevant. ...and I ride a rice burner. Ensures a nice regular supply of fresh organs lol I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are people on here who've lost loved ones in motorcycle accidents. I bet they think you're a real wit when they read that
Thunderbird
In my time I've found that groups of motorcyclists are very often the nicest and most helpful bunch of people you could meet, with a few exceptions of course but you know, generally. The organs comment was a bit rubbish mate. :(
dan-250
I've lost 3 close family and 7 all together. There would be no organs left worth using. They was that mushed. All due to cars pullin out, or mud on the road with no signs. 1 was thy bad the copper even fell over. I did my 2 mins on the 11th, I was driving at 11 and had no where to stop. I slapped a fiver in the box at morrisons earlier , the old chap looked over the moon. Edited November 13, 2011 by dan-

Alpha Mule
Is good to have motorcyclists in our community. Ensures a nice regular supply of fresh organs lol I'm having a bit of a rubbish day, so please bare with me. My mate (a fellow biker) carried 'the card'. He was out for a blast with another couple of my mates. He was taking a right hand bend, when a car came round from the other direction and drifted a bit wide. Mike's positioning could have been better, but it wasn't. He went through the windscreen. Well, most of him did. The top of his helmet just caught on the roof as he went in and it snapped his neck like a twig. My other two mates did CPR etc. until the ambulance arrived, but there was nothing they could have done, he'd died instantly. Apparently his organs were put to good use. However: I reckon his wife and two teenage daughters would have prefered that they were still working inside their dad - I certainly do. Try cracking that one about donors at a biker's cremation and see how well it goes down - or indeed how long you survive 70 odd 'Donors' being a little upset with that brand of humour. Sorry, thread hijack over.

Dr W
You ride a bike, you take your chances and you should probably expect to have a serious accident at some point which is more than likely not going to be your fault but you can't really argue from a coffin. Lost friends and family to motorbike accidents and think it's a mugs game.
