unapalomablanca
Yeh and werent they lovely little shows. I saw a modern equivalent the other day called rastamouse, i think the idea of the show was to make young kids aspire to rastafarianism, with the unintelligable speech etc, and why not i hear you say!! Cottonseed
"Picture Book", "Rag, Tag & Bobtail", "Andy Pandy", "Bill & Ben" and "The Woodentops". - The week's viewing when I was 5 years old I hope that I have got them in the right day order, but, if not, someone will no doubt correct me. The actual running order was Picture Book (Monday), Andy Pandy (Tuesday) Bill and Ben (Weds) Rag, Tag and Bobtail (Thursday) and the Woodentops Friday. For a time they ran Bill and Ben on Tuesday and Wednesdays! (All checked with my mum!) Someone mentioned Mick and Montmorency. I used to love that. "Rhubarb, custard, fruit juice! And I thought I was the only oldster on here!

amateur
The first series of Quatermass, I remember being sent to bed and creeping down the stairs and peering through the banister rails into the living room but couldn't see much of it as the tv screen was small. The old man heard me and just got up and closed the living room door! It was the "Trollenberg Terror" that had the same effect on me
