Beretta28g
32 grams of 5 or 6 shot about a 5 bar far gate in front will do nicely
Blackpowder
Dont know about how much lead but dont mount the gun until the bird is within range, mount-swing -bang . Enjoy! Blackpowder
Beretta28g
TBH, you cannot scientifically answer without knowing the speed of the bird the height of the bird the speed of the cartridges the pattern of the cartridges and if the gun fits you

Drayman
Tail, body, beak, bang! And if you missed behind it obviously wasn't enough!
BIG 5
A good shot is a safe shot. Make sure it is up in tha air and not your neighbours bird. Don't swing through the line for Gods sake or you will not be invited back. Good luck.

Scully
Birds at any distance are going faster than they appear. If you match the speed of the bird with your muzzles and then edge in front, you will miss.SWEEP your muzzles THROUGH the bird and pull the trigger as soon as you blot it out;the momentum of your swing will take care of the lead(leed). If you miss;SWING FASTER!Forget about lead...SWEEP the birds from the sky as though you were using a large painting brush. BRAD1927
BUM, BELLY, BEAK, BANG........ As previously said wait til the bird is in range follow it through and use your instinct, dont stop if you miss with the first barrel speed up more leed and let him/her have the second barrel. Good luck if its your first time should hopefully be an enlightning and enjoyable day. One last thing remember if you dont put the lead (shot)up you ain't gonna hit it lol
Dunkield
They say 'paint them out of the sky' in Devon. It's good saying to remind you not to stop your swing as you pull the trigger (like wot I do )
