sitsinhedges
I have one and they're not too bad to be honest but I had to cut a bit off the round part that grips the clay so it released more easily. Ropemunky
Any more reviews on this bit of kit? I was looking at getting one of these.
Sandbank
I get the wife to hand-launch some for me (without these aids). She is not very strong, can only throw them 6 feet or so. I get some great scores.
Catweazle
I have one, it must be 20 years old now. There is a knack to using it, don't try to launch too hard or the clay will just pancake. I think it could be improved if there was a rubber guide to impart spin to the ribbed part of the clay - like a proper clay trap.
Azzurri
have a similar one there **** ! No good for Dtl then :P
humperdingle
Yes there's certainly a knack... I had to heat the curved part on mine, and bend it a bit to make the clay a bit more loose, otherwise the clay just wouldn't release! Better with a cheap launcher. Sandbank
No good for Dtl then Might also be a shade risky for low-driven!
Drayman
Just do it the Benelli way - at least I think that's the gun he's using!

skabo1
I have one of the grossly overpriced red ones and it does work quite well, in the very cold weather you will break a lot of clays loading it and it won't want to release the bird when you do. It f*c*s me off when you can buy a dog's ball thrower, complete with ball, in a £1 shop and some scumbags who have ripped us all off for years want £17 for what in essence is the same thing. BobSki
Knowing my luck I'd end up throwing my gun and trying to shoot it with a bit of clay stuck in a lump of rubber.
chady
1. Screw the clay to a stick 2. get son/daughter to hold. 3. Buy the biggest dog you can. 4. Set dog after child. You don't get more realistic than that! Just a note.. make sure you don't shoot the dog.!

Salopian
Quote:- "I get the wife to hand-launch some for me" Would it be illegal to get the ex-wife to hold clays for me? But knowing my luck I'd miss.
