elmstone
Out decoying the other day using my 'new' magnet, over some clover. Did not get a sniff all afternoon yet I know they have been feeding on as I have been watching it for a few weeks. Then as the sun got lower a noticed the square arms of the rotor where reflecting the sun light. Could this be the cause, My initial thought was camo tape but does anybody have any other suggestions

roe doe
i paint my magnet and hide poles with all the left over matt model air fix paint that i use for my goose decoy just mix it together add a touch of water to thin down abit and brush it on and you are left with a non shine finish
deny essex
I have always use fabric camo tape on mine , , it lasts for years and doesnt need touching up through scratches . one roll does the job with some left over .
Cranfield
The fabric cammo tape is the best, be very careful to avoid some of the tapes on sale, as they are more shiny than bare metal. Flocking is a good option, but tape is cheaper, as is a good matt model paint.

I have aquired a flocking gun now and had an experiment with converting a dozen woodies decoy shells into flock coated crows After trial and error everthing is top notch.
