Wriggler
If you took someone onto your permission would you then let them go on their own at another time?
chrispti
If you took someone onto your permission would you then let them go on their own at another time? Not after only meeting them once.
TaxiDriver
Surely that's dependant on your relationship with both them AND your landowner ? is he/she likely to have a permission where they can reciprocate ?
PWD
Would you trust an Italian 25 ex male model sex addict with your daughter/wife
Beretta28g
Its your permission. They come when you are there and when you invite them. Or they come there on you invitation, when you are not able to be there yourself; but only on a specified date/time/place.
bicykillgaz
I would and do take 2 people with me one is a neighbour/friend the other is a friend who id interested in getting into rifle shooting, he just lamps for at the minute, but is talking about getting an air rifle to bring. Neither can go without me though and that's how it will stay, i did a lot of walking/cycling round to get what little land i have so i'm sure as hell not going to let someone else ruin it by either over shooting it or doing something wrong and me losing it as a result. Beretta28g
Only the landowner has the authority to let them go on their own. Some permissions I have will not let me take others. I have a regular shooting bud, and we share the permissions n both have the landowners permission. This works better Shurley that depends on the agreement with the land owner? dazsl
only if the land owner was ok with it
KFC
No, and generally it's up to the landowner and not me. I don't have authority to say yes. Normally, unless it's agreed beforehand, I ask the landowners permission to take someone else. I've had too many problems in the past so unless it's a regular shooting buddy then I don't do it. barrelsniffer
I was after a shoot buddy a while back at eventually teamed up with a great chap who lives close by...as i work away i needed someone i could trust and who was safe so i took him a few times to see how he was and then i helped him get his FAC he had been shooting with SG many yrs and also does other means of pest control tapping ect, he had to get on with the farmers who gave me the green light and that was now a few yrs ago and all going well he has access to some 10-12,000 acres at various farms that i have permission to shoot over for many yrs I have took other lads of the various shoot forums who also have there OWN land and who can repay in me being invited to shoot on there land all turned out great lads where a good friendship developed. But he is the only chap i would allow on there own...farmers dont like to many guys and safety is paramount.
bi9johnny
There folks on here who regularly give out invites and I would hope that people would take it at its face value and the kindness it was given with and not push to go back on their own. I have had bad experience in the past so don't do it. In saying that I have recently given an invite out to someone and it wasn't taken up on Think it's what your comfortable with and if it's ok with the landowner

Browning GTS
Yes and have done. Last year when the crops were being hit and i was away, i asked another PW member to help me out, as i thought i was a good way of looking after my rights after the farmer had called me for help, and i could not at that time. MM
I do take people on a regular basis. Would i let someone on without me??? YES. If i wasnt able to go and it was ok with the farmer, then i would ask someone. As much as i have got to know some great people on here, i would only trust one if i needed to.
