Salop Matt
I alternate my fillings between: lemon and sugar and golden syrup ! and i eat till i feel ill ! lol But on holiday in the Dom Rep they were doing american style pancakes and i had them everyday fro breakfast with thin american style bacon drown in maple syrup. Cant decide if i prefer our crepe style big flat ones or the us smaller thicker ones !

Dr W
I like to have only pancakes for dinner. Savory to start, bacon, cheese, mayo and possibly tomato. Then a selection of sweet ones, I like to have at least one lemon and sugar but I do enjoy a nutella, banana and ice cream one

I don't think you need to decide. Both have their place. When I make the American style ones I throw loads of blueberries into the batter.
