ack-ack
Up to my ankles in Bentonite and concrete most days I often ponder what else I'd rather be doing. I can't really complain, I have 12 months work ahead and there are many others that have none but I do so wish I'd taken a different path. Anybody else wish they'd chosen another way to make their wedge? Anybody doing their dream gig? Edited February 25, 2012 by ack-ack
TbirdX
I'd like to be Kristen Johnstons underwear consultant/fitter but other than that, I'm quite lucky in that I like my job and the people I work with.

There's liking your work and loving your work. I like my work and the folk I work with are to man a fantastic mob but its not a dream vocation, more a means to an end. I'd love to be out in the woods all day logging

Bad Monkey
My job used to be my dream job, but the world, and me, has moved on (though i am at least greatful to be working in these difficult times). Since meeting my mrs (gamekeepers daughter) i,ve come to appreciate and love the outdoors, so something outdoors in the countryside would do me. Bloke
Yep! Retirement is the best job I've ever had and I haven't stopped working since I finished working. I'll second that sentiment! Wages aren't quite as good but your boss doesn't worry you and you can lay in when you want!

Sandbank
Yep! Retirement is the best job I've ever had and I haven't stopped working since I finished working. Will go along with that as well. Breakfast starts with double digits in the a.m. and I shoot clays 3 sometimes 4 times a week. O.K. not everything functions as well as it used to ... But I had a great job for much of my working life, maybe committed too much to it sometimes, worked long hours which prevented me doing all I wanted to do. At the end of the day it payed for the perfect (non) job I have now.

Kes
After years in public service and the frustrations of management based on mistrust and expansionism, I'm glad I'm retired and able to do as I want all the time. I'd like to get a part-time job to keep me out of the house a bit but I would really like to start my own business - few ideas so maybe this year ?
