What would your perfect job be?

Up to my ankles in Bentonite and concrete most days I often ponder what else I'd rather be doing. I can't really complain, I have 12 months work ahead and there are many others that have none but I do so wish I'd taken a different path.

Anybody else wish they'd chosen another way to make their wedge?

Anybody doing their dream gig?

I'd like to be Kristen Johnstons underwear consultant/fitter but other than that, I'm quite lucky in that I like my job and the people I work with.

There's liking your work and loving your work. I like my work and the folk I work with are to man a fantastic mob but its not a dream vocation, more a means to an end.

I'd love to be out in the woods all day logging :good:

Yep! Retirement is the best job I've ever had and I haven't stopped working since I finished working.

I had my perfect job

HGV driver, always wanted to be one, got made redundant from factory fitters job and put myself through class 1 and was happier than a pig in ****

2 things changed

1- new manager slowly sucked the life out of the job (changed shifts and working practices)

2- herniated discs in my back means i can no longer do the job i loved :cry1:

:shaun:

Will go along with that as well. Breakfast starts with double digits in the a.m. and I shoot clays 3 sometimes 4 times a week.

O.K. not everything functions as well as it used to ... But I had a great job for much of my working life, maybe committed

too much to it sometimes, worked long hours which prevented me doing all I wanted to do. At the end of the day it payed for the

perfect (non) job I have now.

After years in public service and the frustrations of management based on mistrust and expansionism, I'm glad I'm retired and able to do as I want all the time. I'd like to get a part-time job to keep me out of the house a bit but I would really like to start my own business - few ideas so maybe this year ?
