On the old ground they used,it turned into the Somme when it rained, even landrovers got stuck.

this show ground has roads and is a lot better.it's by the cattle market, they use it for lots of different shows throughout the year ,from tractor shows to Honda goldwing meets.

And i think it was Steve that said there was going to be more stands at this years show.

Yes, it was me who mentioned about more stands.

Should be a few gun selling stalls were a few last year lots selling accessories not so many selling guns but were a couple at least trades list should be on website soon

According to a mate of mine, who is on the Welshgamefair committee, he said that this year, there will be many new traders taking up stalls in the ground, including at least 3 'well known' names, who deal with firearms.

The lack of gun stalls at the Llandeilo shows, were the only things that were missing. Hopefully, we will see some better stalls this year, and will be able to get our hands on some firearms.

I have also been told, although not definate, that if the show is successful this year, then it may be held at this venue for the next few years.

I look forward to seeing you all there. If there is anyone going who has not PM'd me their mobile number, and would like to do so, then please let me know. With luck, we can all meet up and have a laugh.

Steve.

Well the Welsh Gamefair is only 18 days away and I'm looking forward to going. I've got a few names and mobile numbers of other PW members who are also going on the Saturday (16th)

If there is anyone else who would like to join the 'Great Pigeon Watch Member Meet Up', just

give me your contact number and I'll do my best to arrange for us all to meet.

I look forward to meeting you all.

Not long to go now before the Welsh Gamefair on the 16th-17th June. I've got a list of names/numbers of PW members who are going on the 16th, and hopefully we can all meet up and say hello.

The names so far are:

PaulT

HDAV

Crosshair

Onelesscharlie.

and also other PW friends of mine whose numbers I already have. If there is anyone else who intends to go on the 16th, and would like to meet up with other PW members, just PM me your contact number.

I'll will either get a tannoy announcement put out, if I'm allowed, or will phone you all and arrange a meeting place and time.

Sorry if I've not added anyone to the above list.

I'm looking forward to the gamefair and to meeting you all up there. We should have a good laugh.

See you all soon.

Steve.

I'm sorry I can't make it this year. Got some stuff on that weekend that just can't be avoided. My dad lives not far from Carmarthen and I'll def be there next year.

Shame that! Hopefully, we'll see you next year. I'll more than likely compile a 'who's going' list next year. :good:

I might even book a hotel if the Mrs comes along.

I studied at Trinity College so know Carmarthen quite well.

Will PM you now :good:

When were you there Hedd Wyn? i was there between 1994 and 1996.

Ok i'm definately going, but the mechanics of how, when and with who are unclear, i may have one or two children with me as well, my beloved is a primary school teacher and may well need time to write her yearly reports. Will keep you updated as to the "how and when"...... :good:

Cheers

Hi Aled. If you are going on Saturday, and care to give me your mobile #, I'll contact you on the day to arrange for us all to meet up. I may be able to get a message out on the tannoy system.

Regards

Steve.

Nice one Hedd Wyn, but you were after my time. I'd already learnt to drink in Seale-Hayne, but dislocated my shoulder in 19994 which meant (much to my disappointment) i never played for "y Drindod", i had my shoulder surgically repaired and did play a lot of club rugby, but that was after i'd left Uni!

IF someone could post the underfoot conditions that would be great missus is on crutches at the moment and if it is boggy dont see that working well!

The ground is all hardcore, concrete and tarmac, so there's no mud to worry about, unlike Llandeilo last year!

Anyway, what's wrong in giving her a 'piggy back' around the ground? :)
