Fatcatsplat
Because I'm a bit of a winkle as far as gadgets are concerned, i fancy having one of those gun cam thingys on my gun while decoying/roost shooting and game shooting. Don't want to spend a fortune as it's probably going to be a 5 minute wonder (who wants to see me endlessly missing!!). Anyone got any recommendations for under a ton?? Things to look for or avoid?? wj939
Check out shootmorepigeons.com or shooting and more if thats what its called now. The guy that does that has a lot of gun cam footage, im sure he will point you in the right direction from a guy that uses them.

Wildfowler12
Search Mini DV camera or MD80 on the bay, about £6 from hong kong or £11 from the UK. Not fantastic quality, but who cares for that price.

Breastman
If you don't know it's something you want to 'get into', buy one of the cheapy ones recommended here >£20. If you want to do it properly get a GoPro or Contour HD camera. This was filmed with a ATC2K £60 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nH2lfF2LDAo This was with a Contour GPS HD £180 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TG6CfvQLOjE Note the difference in picture quality, sound, recovery from recoil, adjustment to light and field of view. mrwabbits
I have one of these from amazon , ok and cheap as chips for messing about with. Action cam £23.29 needs SD card also http://www.amazon.co.uk/Actioncam-Action-Video-Camera/dp/B001CQQ7J4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1330709459&sr=8-1 Dont forget that with some or lots of smaller cam systems you may have to purchase a SD or micro card as well to record onto. having just checked, it`s the same as what alfa taf has Edited March 2, 2012 by mrwabbits
Fal
I have been thinking about getting something i can secure to the barrel somehow, or clip onto my hat or something similar. I have found this company, British based, they look quite good, I wonder how they will do in low light situations, if i struggle to see ducks etc I am sure the camera will? http://sport-cam.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=MiniHD2&cat=

Otherwise OK.
