Guest Posted March 25, 2012 Report Share Posted March 25, 2012 (edited) Decided to shoot a field of drilled oats today as it looked like the most promising place after walking off about 50+ birds. Bit of a slow start but the birds that did come in really committed to the decoys giving me some nice sport! There was also a large number of jackdaws in the area and after killing a few and putting them out as decoys they too started to come in! Was just lovely to be out in the sun and managed to bag 19 woodies and 22 jackdaws. Not bad in my books!
