washerboy
stupid question to most on here I have an idea its a form of clay shooting but havnt a clue what?, ive seen guns regarded as skeet choked?
dan-250
It's a discipline of clay shooting, there's a high house and a low house that throw a clay on the same flight path each time that cross about 22yards out and you go round in a semi circle to get all the angles, it's good fun, I recently only just got Into, a typical go is a round of 25. Check it out, can get through it in about 10 mins if you want to Sorry as of chokes cylinder or the most open you can have as they are close and get small shot, 8's or 9's

dan-250
Cheers bud, I was looking for a picture. If you get a perfect 24 you take your last shot from where ever, if u miss you retake it and loose your option. They all come out the same pattern each time you go, 2 singles on each stand and on stand 1,2,6 and 7 you get a pair aswell

DSPUK
You have to be 60+ to take part though - also helps if you are hard of hearing and your back leg's have gone You must also be able to tell tall stories of how good things were in the 60's and 70's Dave

Harnser
A clay pigeon shooting discipline normally enjoyed by the older generation of up hill Gardner's . Incidently I love it , how old are you and would you describe your self as good looking . Harnser .

Yes I am rather brilliant at it, I won my last round of skeet against some dodgy bumders. yes timps is your man a wealth of knowledge on the skeet front My knowledge of skeet is vast, the first and most important thing I learnt was go shoot something else like sportrap. He's also the master of reverse lead. I am trying to teach Azzurri reverse lead, it is very high brow, takes time and loads of expensive lessons to master. BRAD1927
English skeet stand 1 - high tower, followed by low tower, followed by pair but must hit high bird first stand 2 - as above stand 3 - high tower followed by low tower stand 4 - as per stand 1 but must nominate the first bird to be broken on the pair stand 5 - as per stand 3 stand 6 - as per stand 1 stand 7 - low tower followed by high tower, followed by a pair low bird to be hit first The first bird to be missed is re-shot and is the 25th shot, if you score a perfect round then the 25th shot is taken from stand 7 at either high or low tower chosen by the shooter. If you break both clays (pair) with one shot it is classed as a no bird and will be re-shot, if you do this 3 times (i wish)only 1 bird will be scored. As times are hard I thought I would save money by using fewer words. This hasn't worked out well as I now have to use considerably more words, pointing this out to pedantic spacktards
