was a good few days.....had in total 9 between us over the 4 days ..good to beat the PB by 1lb ....but nice to see a few jacks around for once unlike the last few sessions and loads of roach and skimmers to go at....

but saw 7 cormarants "sunbathing" on the dead tree in wroxham broad and saw 6 otters   including one that ripped into a keepnet

Very nice Leeds chimp. I love my piking still yet to catch a decent one 4lb was my best last year but still enjoyed every min spent out after them.

Nice to see them, would never of thought of trying a marina, might be something to consider.

just keep your line away from the boats if possible. Friend of mine hooked into a nice double figure pike in Barton Turf only to have it wrap it's self round an outboard leg and snap the line.

when dead baiting I use a float so I can see the smallest movement on the bait...Rather lose than deep hook or risk a snap off...When round boats I leave plenty of room and have the clutch step quite tight for it

lovely looking fish, i love my trips down to wroxham :)

i am gonna get the piking gear out this time home and hit my local river its lovely travelling light and exploring the swims for fish :)

Thats what we do on the river... I call it hit and run....stay in a spot for 20-30 mins if nothing then move on to the next and work our way down...

yeah best way to fish a river, drain or canal or the other method is leap frogging the rods every 30-45 mins and work your way along
