harrycatcat1
Think morrisons are doing it for £7, though I get mine for free. I have been done then, however there is no pharmacy in the Chesterfield Morrisons so it would cost me more than a pound to go elsewhere, phew I will sleep easy now tonight. BerettaSV10
No way! Its only a little pin type scratch feeling, as long as your not allergic to eggs you will be ok. Edited October 20, 2012 by BerettaSV10

daz2202
Had mine. Freebie as I am diabetic. Felt a bit beaten up for 72 hours after but I reckon it's worth it as those that have had flu (not a cold /man flu ) will know what I mean. Flu means 2 weeks bed ridden
Thunderbird
Flu is vile and I lost a week last year through it. Definitely getting the jab this time.

harrycatcat1
I had it (bought it) because I am forever getting bronchitis about 3 or 4 times per year , I even had it this last June, cant breath properly. Thats why I let the young uns go far out on the marsh and I keep to the edges when wildfowling. Still cant get it free though.

WelshLamb
Its only a little pin type scratch feeling, as long as your not allergic to eggs you will be ok. It's not the actual needle that puts me off, it's the fact that almost everyone I know who's had it has been laid up for a week or 2 afterwards with flu. Seems to defeat the object! BerettaSV10
Never had that effect with me, as I am classed as being in the at risk group safer to have it according the quacs. A friend went to morrisions and had a free cup of coffee with their jab.

Yellow Bear
Had mine last Tuesday for this year - have had it for most of the last 10 but for the first time had 36 hours of feeling grott (not ill but generally off) this year for some reason. joe1978
The flu jab contains several strains of flu which are determined by WHO and the DoH over the summer based on worldwide epidemiology. So with regard to a UK GP not knowing which to give is rubbish, he also gets paid to do it and has to do a percentage of the target population to meet NHS targets. Some patients can get mild cold symptoms over the days following the jab as the body develops the immune response to the much more severe flu virus.
