Is this the same mick sheppard who owns Mick guns on the internet?? I was stunned to read it in the Sporting Shoother and wanted to get clarification of wether or not it's true and if so any other info anyone can add? Cranfield
He was arrested some time ago, with lots of publicity about the biggest "arms cache" ever found in the UK. It now transpires that probably all of the weapons he had were legitimate and licensed, which is why there has been no follow-up in the media. He is due in Court about the middle of this month. Talk is of large compensation payments due to him, when the prosecution falls through.
Guest jonrms
it would have to be a large compensation ... expecially if your running a buisness like firearms... and your name is brought down in the mud... Imagine what that would do for your reputation... let alone any profits... down hill I say... I hope it is the case of a mistaken identy.... or wrong information... I hope it doesnt effect his livelyhood too much..
al4x
The charges against him smell of bull excreta. He's been done for a number of conspiracy charges which to me sounds like they've no actual proof so fingers crossed for him.

al4x
There was a lot of **** reported, but he was held in custody so I guess there may be something behind it. Hopefully not but I guess we'll find out more when it goes to court

Yep, lots of percussion shotguns as well, stacked in a corner - ideal for druggies If I knew where this guy was I would make a bid for a couple. dunganick
once he has got back on his feet im sure his site will be back online. It is a great site which i have reffered PW members to many times for unusual guns. Its a damned shame this has happened, although im sure it will probably help advertise his shop in many ways. But just think of all the damage the police will have caused to the guns whilst removing them. Possibly mint condition antiques damaged because of what im sure will turn out to be a mistake.
