Tam
My old dog is retired now due to a recurring leg problem/old age - it still pains me lo leave to go shooting without my faithfull companion :( Anyways, whenever I am at a shoot I always place a couple of birds for him to find & retreive - makes his day. The first was in the wood at the back of the garden & I had dragged it along the ground to leave a scent trail before placing it in cover. As far as he was concerned he was only going for a Whizz. It wasn't long before his nose was down & I told him to find it, followed the sent trail & pleased as punch. The video was in the garden http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoKwyRW-S9o
