Old Dog's Retreive

My old dog is retired now due to a recurring leg problem/old age - it still pains me lo leave to go shooting without my faithfull companion :( Anyways, whenever I am at a shoot I always place a couple of birds for him to find & retreive - makes his day. The first was in the wood at the back of the garden & I had dragged it along the ground to leave a scent trail before placing it in cover. As far as he was concerned he was only going for a Whizz. It wasn't long before his nose was down & I told him to find it, followed the sent trail & pleased as punch. The video was in the garden

**** me tam you need to sack the gardener!

 

Waiting on it to defrost before I can rake up the dying vegetation Paul - I am trying to get a grant as a Nature Reserve LOL :ninja: Even had a Woodpecker at the bird feeding station on the Cherry Blossom Tree & regularly have Deer jump the fence :yes::D :D

mines the opposite, with the pups tearing round everything is dead, chewed or just mud, nothing visits they just wouldn't dare :lol:

 

nice vid and good to see you think of the old dog, bet doing that makes the dogs day :good::yahoo: (yours too eh?)
