POLL: Which Charity for the PW NvS Shoot

Once again this year there have been a number of nominations for the Charity which we should support with the PW NvS Charity Shoot on the 1st June at Grange Farm Shooting Ground. All the Charities nominated have been very worthy. Having tried to select the ones with multiple votes, I have placed them into the vote above, I have also called on a bit of wizardry from Petethegeek who has kindly obliged and put them all on this page: http://wherestheclay.../charidees.html - complete with links to their own websites so you can do a bit more research on exactly what they do.

In previous years we have generally opted for smaller charities as there is a feeling that the money donated will do more and go further, rather than being swallowed up in admin. This may be worth bearing in mind once more this year. Please do read the Charity's websites all listed here and click away to your hearts content- http://wherestheclay.../charidees.html Please only vote if you intend to come to the day or make a donation to the charity.

This poll will be up until Monday, so it's important to get your vote in. In the event of a split decision, a second 'head to head' vote will be held.

Good selection of worthy charities ,unfortunately ill abstain from voting as even though i have my own preferences I will not be able to contribute to the shoot due to work commitments and I think the voting should be left to the coffers, as already asked by teal , atb and hope you all have a great time. Delburt0.... :)

Hello you lovely people!

On behalf of Orchid I would like to say a massive thank you for choosing to support Orchid, we really appreciate your support!

Orchid exists to save men’s lives from male specific cancers, and is the UK’s only registered charity specialising in all three male tumours – testicular, prostate and penile. Orchid works to improve the lives of people affected by male cancers through educational campaigns and raising awareness, providing dedicated support services, and via a world class research programme.

If you would like to know any more information about Orchid and the work we do then please do not hesitate to get in touch with me at alice.dickens@orchid-cancer.org.uk

Thank you once again for supporting Orchid and helping us fight male cancer.

Very best wishes,

Alice
