Teal
Once again this year there have been a number of nominations for the Charity which we should support with the PW NvS Charity Shoot on the 1st June at Grange Farm Shooting Ground. All the Charities nominated have been very worthy. Having tried to select the ones with multiple votes, I have placed them into the vote above, I have also called on a bit of wizardry from Petethegeek who has kindly obliged and put them all on this page: http://wherestheclay.../charidees.html - complete with links to their own websites so you can do a bit more research on exactly what they do. In previous years we have generally opted for smaller charities as there is a feeling that the money donated will do more and go further, rather than being swallowed up in admin. This may be worth bearing in mind once more this year. Please do read the Charity's websites all listed here and click away to your hearts content- http://wherestheclay.../charidees.html Please only vote if you intend to come to the day or make a donation to the charity. This poll will be up until Monday, so it's important to get your vote in. In the event of a split decision, a second 'head to head' vote will be held. delburt0
Good selection of worthy charities ,unfortunately ill abstain from voting as even though i have my own preferences I will not be able to contribute to the shoot due to work commitments and I think the voting should be left to the coffers, as already asked by teal , atb and hope you all have a great time. Dunkield
I think you are fine making a selection charity wise if you intend to contribute. If you are unable to attend the shoot, you can still make contribution to the chosen charity.
delburt0
Me and my wife have already raised over 4k for Macmillan over the last 12 months with various events and business events, this is where my nomination would have gone, as it is I have other charity work ongoing it would just have been a great time to meet you all.. Canis
All these charities to vote for seem to be "medical"and i can't pick out one as being more deserving than the others. Consequently while i intend to be at the shoot I am going to abstain from the vote.
Paddy Galore!
