mad1
I know some landrover magazines usually have printed a route they have done ?
Alex C
Probelm is with any map is the lanes get TRO's (Temporary Restriction Orders) put on them all the time which effectively close them for a period of time. This happens when they get trashed. The maps will not be up to date as it would be too difficult to reissue maps each time this happens. Â If you want to go green laning, get yourself into a group who know the local area and can keep you on the right side of the law. Â Cheers

countryman
Make sure there is at least 2 vehicles, or you may find yourself looking for a tractor to pull you out. Chris
TaxiDriver
Used to do loads in various Landrovers. Use OS maps to plan routes then check your proposed route with the County Highways dept for any closures. If anyone tries to stop or block you from using a byeway you have checked - Call the Police If anyone stops you on a byeway you havent checked - check it asap on the counties 'Definitive Map'
stokie
Where abouts do you live Where are you looking to go laning There are some organisations such as explore off road look them up on the net or FB that do guided tours . It's a little expensive but safe as you have lots of backup and it gives you a good taster of what to expect . You can always revisit the routes with your mates later on . The main thing is to not go anywhere your not supposed to be as that gives us all a bad name . Research your routes which has been said before There a lots of lanes in the Peak District that we go do a few times a year then we also head into the hills of north Wales and do some wild camping aswell . al4x
Make sure there is at least 2 vehicles, or you may find yourself looking for a tractor to pull you out. Chris Most round us won't help simply because they are fed up with people trashing the lanes but if you find one expect it to cost
