figgy
So the south have some more heavy weight shooters,as in large waistlines. The southerners should be worried as according to them darn sarf,we still have to hunt for our food oop ere, still living in olden times as we do. Not to many light weights among us so we don't go hungry often : lol: dead eye ***** the lot of us The shoot sheeps that good he only uses 21g to give them a sporting chance. Catamong
This is shaping up to be a really good event yet again, the South are now fielding a very strong team, the trophy will deffo be coming home "Darn Sarf" yet again, it's a dead cert.. Now, for those of you who've not had the pleasure of shooting at Grange Farm before, it's only a few minutes from the M1 motorway, but do take note of the drections to the ground below, as it's very easy to drive right past the entrance, as it's in a semi built up area, and the sign by the entrance is easy to miss. Grange Farm Sporting Clays. Desford Road, Newtown Unthank, Leicestershire. LE9 9FP.T: 01455 822 208 – Brian M: 07801 530 480 – Adam M:07894 393 762. M1 Southbound Leave the motorway at Junction 22 at the roundabout take the 1st exit A50 towards Markfield At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted Thornton Head towards Botcheston Stay on this road until you reach a T Junction then turn LEFT At the next T junction turn RIGHT onto the B5380 towards DESFORD After the railway crossing turn LEFT onto a small gravel drive and follow to reach the clubhouse M1 Northbound Leave the motorway at Junction 21a. Bear Left signposted Ratby B5380 At the roundabout turn RIGHT, 2nd exit At the roundabout turn RIGHT 2nd exit towards Kirby Muxloe At the roundabout turn RIGHT, 2nd exit At the roundabout STRAIGHT ON 2nd exit At the mini roundabout turn left 1st exit Desford road (B5380) Stay on this road for approx 3 miles. You will reach Newtown Unthank Pass a turning to Botcheston on the right and keep following the road After the railway crossing turn LEFT onto a small gravel drive and follow to reach the clubhouse I have agreed with Teal that latecomers from the North will all be docked 10 targets if they're not there when called, Southerners will only get 30 minutes grace after the official start time, so be there nice & early. The weather's also looking fair, (as I predicted on this forum back in February.. ) Looking forward to seeing some old friends again and meeting plenty of new ones. Cat. Teal
The good news is that there have been two very late sign-ups this morning both shooting for the North, just deciding on the point docking penalties on the day for missing the deadline
