The Essex Hunter
Very nice.....looks like a war zone on the pigeons. That net set up works very well as you only need to sit still, but you can track the birds as they flight in. When it comes together that is the best shooting to be had. Very well done TEH
woodcock11
Tremendous result - well done. How many dogs did you have with you? They must have been tired after helping you to lift 200 pigeons and well done getting that last one three fields away!
Dougy
Brilliant. Wish I could do that well. Like you I need a few trips back to the car for more cartridges but don't end up with that many. LOL

JDog
Fantastic day for you JDog , congratulations on the new best bag . Good job you have the sense to keep plenty of cartridges at hand , many dont !! Thanks. I am chuffed to have been able to have such a good day. Numbers are really not that important but it would have rankled somewhat if I had just failed to get to 200. It was pure fluke that I had so many cartridges with me. I actually fired 389. Today I feel as if I have 'man flu'. It must have been the concentration needed for five hours shooting in the wind.

motty
Thats a superb bag and I would hesitate to say, unlikely to be beaten for some time!! Very well done I imagine there would be a very good chance of bettering the bag at harvest time. The field doesn't look like it has been prepared very well. I'll bet there were beans everywhere. Well done, JDog. Great effort. It's so satisfying getting over the double ton, especially on your own.
