sussex lad
Superb Mines nearly 19 years old . Its been dash deep stuck in a huge muddy puddle(inside and out), on its side, spent more time on 3 wheels than four and made me smile more than any other motor i have ever owned How many other 19 year old motors can boast this
lurcherboy
Damn right too. Not for hairdressers or people with soft hands. LB
Yorkshire Pudding
Damn right too. Not for hairdressers or people with soft hands. LB But them hairdressers cars are just as good off road , if not better , and better on road . The reason drivers have soft hands is due to the leather clad luxury in the motors ... lol .. all the best yis yp PROUD OWNER OF A HAIRDRESSERS CAR !! njc110381
There's no better vehicle than a landy. If you can cope with the rough ride and running costs, they're great. If I was the richest bloke in england, I'd still have room on my drive for a scruffy Defender
il cacciatore
I want a Series 2. We have a discovery and I don't like it much. Its a land rover but your scared to get it dirty, it probably is capable enough but at least with a defender you don't need to worry about it. I have a disco and am scared to wash it. Mine is used for commuting, shooting fishing and everything else that her indoors won't put in her nice new fiesta. And as for Hairdresser car's better off road What planet are you on? Although I suppose they might be up to the point they fall apart and cost you a small mortgage to have a main dealer put them back together. And all that is after so guy in Japan can be bother to send them the parts.
Poacher
Nice vid, 70% that were ever made are still running can't beat the defender a real work horse
pin
More telling for me was the stat that in the developing world, for 60% of people there, the first car they saw was a landy. Think about that. You are going somewhere you have never been before, you have no idea what lies ahead. What car do you take, well, you take a landy
