chrisjpainter
I'm looking at getting some decent shooting sticks, so I was just wondering what you chaps use. There seem to be a bewildering number on the market, ranging from the super cheap to really expensive, I'm not sure what to look for! Any help would be greatly appreciated. atb Chris
Davyo
Make a set, have a look on crafts at Fenchiboys vid, I made a set & will not leave the house without them, better than anything you can buy, & the total build is around £
steve_b_wales
You can make your own, of course, but take a look at the HSF ones sold by Sportsman Guncentre. Excellent value for money and very study and easy to use. http://www.sportsmanguncentre.co.uk/product/224e5f5e35c2fb6065276234/HSF+Tripod+Shooting+Stick/

activeviii
Quad sticks. Very easy and cheap to make. I should really put a post up on here on how to make.
mick miller
I made a set of quad sticks. Using green poles and held at the top with o-rings, which allows you a large degree of rotation without any loss of support. I think they beat anything you can buy in a shop. Total cost was around £20.
chrisjpainter
Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll have a look at a few vids and see about making them! Failing that, the HSF ones look pretty good, especially for the price! Chris
