Hi all.

I've just purchased me first magnet. And don't have a clue on what decoys to put on it.

Due to various reasons i don't really have any way of freezing dead ones. So any tips on what people find work on em?

Many thanks in advance.

Hyperflaps are excellent.

You can add your own stiffer rods to cope in stronger winds if you wanted.

Indeed, either stiffer rods or double up the suppied rods!

Ah ******!!!!! It might have to wot till i knock sole down each like then. ******.

The UK Shootwarehouse has a special on the Hyperflaps at £39, you can take 5% discount on those too as a PW member and they are well worth the investment. I rarely go out without them. Sometimes I put them on to start with and if I see they are not being as effective as I like I switch to real birds, but often they stay on all day which means the battery on the Magnet lasts a lot longer. I also use a single one on the magnet on occasions if the birds are a bit skittish, but you have to leave both arms on for balance.

save your money and look around for an small chest freezer you cant beat dead birds

He wouldn't be wasting his money, Hyperflaps work very well and are a good alternative to real birds if you don't have any stored.
