RossEM
How many of you out there have a gun with 24" barrels? I recently used (the dreaded) Hatsan Escort with 24" barrels and found it a lot more wieldy than other semis I've tried...any thoughts? TJ91
I had a side by side with 25" tubes. Regret selling it..the best hide gun I ever had. Remember a semi is longer than and o/u or s/s with same length tubes
RossEM
Shorter barrels seem to handle faster, I have an O/U with 29" barrels and shooting it feels deliberate rather than instinctive
Mike737
I have a Mossberg 9200 with 24" barrel, and get on very well with it. Which isn't to say that I hit everything I shoot at... It's a good size in the hide though, and I get a reasonable score on clays as well. Mike.
njc110381
One of the best guns I ever used was an AYA 25 - 25" barrels on a very short action so a tiny gun compared to my 28" Beretta auto. I found it really fast and I hit most of what I shot at. It's all down to personal choice and shooting style. I have a lazy swing so need the shorter guns to allow me to catch up with the target - some shooters will miss in front so I'm told?

klatuveradanikto
Mossberg 500 with 24 " barrel cylinder choke limited success, so prefer using it with the 28" multi choke barrel.

Underdog
My muzzleloader has no choke. Still downs stuff. My holloway has next to nowt in its right barrel and is fine. The cartridge will make a difference. U.
