The old system wa sto go into "Meet up" section and post something about "PW arms free beer" and then people would know if there was a shout and would flock in there,especially if Gloria was in ;)

There was never any free beer HD we used to put them all on your tab ;);):xmas:

Point to start->run

In the box type "cmd"

In that black window type "java -version"

Right click on the text it spits out, choose "mark" from the menu, then with the left mouse button click and drag so it all goes white. With it all highlighted press "Ctrl-c" (press and hold ctrl, then press the c key, release c and release ctrl).

Come into this thread, post a reply and then right click and choose paste.

Should look something like this :-

java version "1.5.0_06"

Java 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_06-b05)

Java HotSpot Client VM (build 1.5.0_06-b05, mixed mode, sharing)

Paste whatever it shows, even an error, might help me work out what's up.

Pin, Followed your advice and now have java version 10.

Go to PW Arms and get the grey box treatment although there is no a 'load. class client not found' statement in the lower information bar.

I'm giving up mate and suggest you do too.

Thanks for hanging in there and giving me your time :)
