Edward Imp
Hello All. I have recently moved to Lancashire, I am based in the Rossendale area. Having secured a place on a syndicate I need to locate the best gun shop for cartridges! My postcode begins BB4. Any tips on good shops in my area would be much appreciated, as I find gunshops a bit hit and miss, if you can excuse the pun! I did buy a gun the other day from a dealer in Cheadle Hume, but its quite a way from me!
Gordon R
Nicky T on here sells shells - lives Bury area. Top lad and decent prices for proper shells. Nearest to you and better than anything in Bolton. There are two shops in Halliwell Road Bolton - neither of which I would recommend. Kelbrook Shooting School - just through Foulridge, near Colne - shooting ground and plenty of shells.

Gordon R
McAvoys are fine for guns, but their shell prices are way too high.

Gordon R
There are a number of very good places to buy shells in the North West:- Nicky T on here. Webber at Norgas St Helens. John Beswick at Rainford. Kelbrook. Malmo. Any of those sell top shells at very good prices. The others mentioned on this thread are decent gun shops - but do not sell good shells at low prices. Royboy
The thing is I'd probably use £15 worth of fuel going to Rainford !!
beeredup
The thing is I'd probably use £15 worth of fuel going to Rainford !! yeah i know that feeling i tend to just stick to Malmos or the clay ground as i was up until recently buying my victory challengers from there but i am on superfasts at the moment but think i am off back to Victory (indecision is the tool of the devil i tell ya) 3:)
Gordon R
Looking at the post code - virtually all of Rossendale is BB4. Nicky T is probably the same distance as Kelbrook - the route is a lot easier and he is far better to deal with. He would be my choice - given the distance of the others. The rest - you have to add the extra fuel cost.

Would definitely recommend that you have a look at his website for further info. Nick
