aka_t50
hi mate depends on your budget but I find hunter willies heavy and in my opinion not as good as likes of chameau or Aigle if your budget allows have a look at Aigle Parcours or Le Chameau Vierzonord if not the Seeland Estate are good on a budget if you shop around can find the under £80 good luck Tim

castletyne
I would stay clear of Sealand poor quality only lasted a year
NickB65
I use Muckboots at present and although they are very comfy they do weigh a ton - looking to get some lighter and more comfortable ones so I might have a look at Sealand. Aigle and Le Chameau are just too much money - I am sure they are good but I go through brambles, thickets and I am not sure they will stand up to the rough treatment. aga man
i use the wellies you have stated John and i have to say the are very good. i pay about £40 for mine from the farmers merchant and expect to get about three years out of them. they are comfortable and lightweight. the only bad things i can say is that they are slipery on wet concrete and perish if left in direct sunlight. otherwise they are very good value imo. even prince charlie can be seen wearing them and i dare say he could have any wellies he wanted. tigger
Le chameau are brilliant if you ask me had mine for years, I wear them for beating and picking up 25-30 days a season plus dog walking etc they are 7 years old can't ask for more than that..... byjovecarruthers
I've had a pair of Hunter Balmoral neoprene Wellington boots for 4 years and they've been thrashed. Still going strong though.
Nikk
Get Le Chameau they're way better than hunter and worth the extra. I've got two pairs

norfolk dumpling
SWMBO bought me a pair of Hunter Balmorals a few years back - wanted Le Cham but must say apart from replacing insoles after 3yrs regular use (I'm retired and beat/shoot 3/4 days a week) they are still going strong. Le Cham's good but I ripped them on barbed wire weeks after buying. So for next pair (hopefully not soon) I'm divided.
