aris
What happened to 5 Litres? Annoying isn't it. Loads of cars need between 4 and 5 litres for a full oil change.
fenboy
What happened to 5 Litres? I noticed this , I guess its to get you to buy 8 litres or a 1 liotre bottle at a rip off price ! Also how can halfords discount a £33 fully synthetic down to a £10 and yet charge the same £10 for a £20 mineral , they must be buying at the same price and inflating the price of synthetic Edited December 28, 2013 by fenboy

Chris Bb
Went in there this morning. Guess what? The oil required for my car isn't discounted at that branch, it's still £30+ Why is it I never spend any money in this awful shop?
old rooster
Well worth checking what your motor really needs, fully synthetic can actually damage engines made to be used with semi or mineral. My boat engine uses straight mineral oil and that is putting out 250hp on a 3.4litre lump.
88b
I bought a case this morning , the Ford fully synth 5/30 is A5 spec ,perfect for our Hyundais and they take just under 4 litres. The 5 litre bottles were about £30 , cheaper to buy two 4 litre bottles. Thanks for the heads up.

Two bottles for £20 and a spare litre to top up with.
bruno22rf
I bought the fully synthetic last year-3x 4 ltr cartons for £30 for my Saab-I get my local garage to put it in when they service the car and it saves me about £30 each timer-win/win as far as I can see.
