hi guys just at the moment we seem to have a few foxes moved in to our neck of the woods so ive been going fox silly with lamp and rifle for a few nights, i went back to the farm where i missed a big old dark fox early on in the week as its been on my mind :/ .any way i got there to see this lad not far from where i shot a few nights before,he was around 230 yard away so as usual i hit the deck and shot him with a nice chest shot which to my amazement he stood for the shot, when picking him he was dark so i was 99 percent he was the same one i missed early on in the week, as we were walking back to the car another fox had come down the lane,he see us then sat on the farm track and started to watch us,i know this ground well and this shot was around the 270 yard mark and i knew he was going to run any minute,so again i hit the very wet deck and aimed just under his chin knowing the 50 grain bullet from the 22.250 would drop around 4 or5 inch in his chest which it did with a top thud,so another good night realy for me and driller this time so happy days again ,cheers simon..

Good shots....at work today I called a dog fox down to ten yards today me in hi-viz and it never saw me! I knew it was a dog as it was so close that when it turned I could see his fury little nut bag!

Would of been nice for the flinter!

Anyhoo...keep at it, practice like this will one day make you a fine shot
