Landrover pricing

Hi to all I hope to get a better reception on here as I did on a Landrover forum where I got shot down in flames for asking for help of all things then my post was removed all within 5 mins

So here goes I might have to change my 90 truck cab for something with a bit more space due to family circumstances I am after a rough idea on price not a full valuation like some other idiot thought I was after

It's just a idea so I don't rip anyone off or I don't loose out just trying to be fair

It's a green 90 pickup

E reg

200tdi conversion

10 months mot no advisory

5 months tax

New front shocks

New rear light

Rewired rear lights

New steering damper

New steering arm

Mud terrains

It's not got any real major dents or massive scratches but it by no means a show vehicle

The interior is functional but showing signs of age now

I would really like so help not **** take thank you all

Afraid so mate just got bombarded within minutes I just wanted some friendly help not a rant from some jumped up purist who probably wouldn't say boo to a goose in the real world but gets full of brave biscuits behind a keyboard

That forum is incredible. I never got it myself but it seemed chaos and the mods do nothing.

I joined TheD2BoysClub forum when I bought my Disco and the forum is excellent.

When I sold my last defender . I would of been happy with 2500 so I put it up on the bay for 3750 or best offer . Just refuse the silly offers until you get one your happy with . But then some bloke hit the buy it now for the full price . He collected the next day and was well chuffed . I was ecstatic . Good luck with your sale

I will swap for my Troopr if you want :whistling:

Pricing seems to be about right for what the others have said.

Agree on what has been said about landyzone as well.

Hi mate thanks for the offer but I would be looking for a hilux or something like that as I need the pickup part for the dogs but thanks anyway

On eBay you can search for 'Completed listings'.

I don't know what device you are using to look on eBay, but:

If on an ipad, search for 'Land Rover Defender' then click on More Options, at the bottom of the menu, turn on Completed Listings, you can then refine the returns from there.

If using a web browser, to the right of the Search button there is an Advanced option, click on that and a little way down the options you should see 'Search including' then select Sold items.

Hope that helps.

Jonathan.

I recently sold an F reg soft top 200TDi conversion. Advertised at £3000, little interest, reduced to £2500 and it sold next day. That was at Christmas which is a bad time to sell, now that better weather's coming you should do better. Good luck. :good:

Don't know about LandyZone, have never visited it in any depth, but I find Defender2.net really friendly and helpful.

Edited to add that second sentence.

Yes that's the way to go.

You just can't put a value on them, to me it's worth 750 but to someone else 3750 is good. I've got a series which I value at 400 but people say it will fetch a lot more than that. Why? who knows, apart from the person who will pay big money for them.

It certainly looks like a good truck.

Good luck and I hope you get what you want for it :)
